Thread: Static object rotation and AI aircraft nav lights. | Forums

  1. #1
Two questions: How do you rotate a static object (fortification, ship, aircraft) to get it to face the right way? How, at night, do I get the AI aircraft to fly without all of their lights on?

Any help on these matters would be much appreciated.

With the lights you can't I'm afraid and with objects its the Arrow Keys to your right. Might have to click the object twice though

Thanks! I had no idea that anybody would even respond. I had to use the numberpad arrows to rotate. How do I put pictures in my posts?

You need to find a site to upload your pics to and then copy and paste the url into a post using the little green and white picture icon above the text field of your reply/post. I use photobucket.com to host my pics. It's free, just google it, register and start uploading.

Yeah, this forum is still pretty helpful even though some folks do tend to whine a bit much, though. I do think that the issue of all these AI planes flying through a combat zone at night with all their lights on is a problem that Oleg and Co should address, surely it should be pretty easy to have these AI pilots switch off lights once they're in a certain distance from enemy units?

ive only flown limited night misns, but in the ones wehre i encountered enemy planes, they bad guys had no lights on. My flight seemed to use them until the sun came up, but i may be wrong.
