Okay, just dropping by to say that Ubi has done quite a good job with the PC port. At least this time, they got the context icons properly.
I do have one gripe with the menu system, though. Now we can't scroll down menu items with WSAD, can we? Why was that taken off? Other than that, the game is solid so far. Great work, Ubisoft.
    Now off to play.

EDIT: Can't believe I forgot to say this: THE CHARACTER MODELS ARE FRIGGIN GORGEOUS!!! A big step up from AC2.

Few things I missed so far with playing.
First, Rome is HUGE. Really, HUGE. Why Ubisoft took away the Sprint feature with horses is unbelievable.
However, in some missions it's enabled which you totally forget due to it not being in the "main" story gameplay. Confusing stuff.

Second, No "WSAD" scrolling / moving on Map.
That part I loved since now you have to click mouse and move around in mirror style. Sort of annoying.

Anyway, those are really the only two things I could "whine" about lol. The game is just perfect and enjoying it day in day out

I SO agree with you in regards to the galloping omission, and WASD on the map thing.

I have to say that the marking of feathers and flags on the map if you see them in EV is a big plus, and long overdue Ive marked 5 or 6 flags so far, i won't collect them all until i've marked them out.

And i love the weapon combo thing, if i wanna blow a guard away across the street, i just have to select my sword now, lock on, and aim with the gun. I unlocked the gun upgrade from Uplay, so i can now have 10 bullets (I also unlocked Altair's armor skin and Hellequin)

I just have to get the hang of the kill streak thing, the instructions/hints DON'T say that you have to be in LOW profile to pull off a a kill streak.

I too have issues with kill streaks. Might take time to get the hang of it.
And I'm puzzled at the lack of gallop on a horse. At the beginning when you ride to Monteriggioni with Mario, gallop feature is there. Once you get to Rome, suddenly, it's gone. I was like WTF...

have you tried taking a horse into monteriggioni? perhaps its just inside of cities that the gallop is disabled.

otherwise, that sounds a wee bit lame.

And even if gallop is only disabled in cities, it's lame cause there's no separate countryside as such. Everything is part of the big city of Rome, so no galloping. Riding a horse feels so dull and boring cause of this. I really wonder why Ubi did this.

Galloping has been replaced by "stand-up" on horses. Whatever logic is behind that though.
