so the whole issue with the camera I hear ppl talking about is something as simple as you can only invert both x and y or dont invert either... you cant invert one and not invert the other? Thats all? I thought it was something more serious, come on Ubisoft how hard is it to fix something like that? I mean theres an online game I played... one of the quests had a bug that would render it unfinishable...
there was one of three buttons you had to press to open a gate (the correct button was always random) but if you pressed button number 2, the game would act as if you pressed button number 3 instead... so the only way you could complete the quest is if the correct button was number 3 or 1.. well on my play I got stuck with number 2... i pointed out the bug to one of the mods, he looked at the code right then and there and saw that I was indeed correct... he fixed the code on the spot and told me once I rebooted the game everything would work properly... and sure enough i rebooted.. it gave me number 2 button again and it worked... less than 5 mins it was fixed right then and there... Im sure that camera issue is no different or harder to fix.

I'm still waiting on a reply back from the Forum Manager.
She told me she would look into both the patch and the release date for the US (the latter seems to have been clarified in your other thread with 'next week').

the release date has actually been officially confirmed on the US ps blog as of today... it comes out on the 28th

If Ubi want to give the series a fighting chance of survival they got a funny way of showing it! I really hope this patch does see the light of day.

playing the US ps3 release and the camera is just fine. it's normal for both. i even checked the settings. perhaps the other versions have a patch now?
i haven't played much yet, but i'm actually pretty happy so far with the HD version. about the only issue i'd say is the audio and video are a tad out of sync, but it's tolerable. surely more-so than a camera issue would be.

Really? THIS is your response to people being massive babies about NOTHING? Ubisoft should care enough to fix it? It's exactly like it was on the original game! Nothing different! It's the way the game was intended to be played! You adjust to different camera controls, I've played with MANY different camera control options, I rarely switch them. Just adjust like a normal gamer.

I'm not aware of any title update to resolve this or any other issue but should any news become available I will let you all know.
In the meantime do remember you should always report in game issues to the support team, this helps them establish how big an issue any given problem may be

We did. They told use that they were "working on a fix", and our support tickets were closed as well. Now that the PSN version was released with the exact same bug, it's suddenly becoming apparent that Technical Support may very well have lied to us about that fix. I contacted Technical Support more than 3 weeks ago asking for an explanation and I still haven't gotten a reply. A different support ticket for Child of Eden which I submitted two weeks ago has also still been left unanswered. I don't find that acceptable, not in the least for a company like Ubisoft.
