Thread: My crosshair is acting weird | Forums

  1. #1
On graw my cross hair is drifting from side to side making the aiming hard and repetitive. I realize that they are meant to be realistic and shake, but mine is shaking to the point on not being able to aim. Could someone please tell me if this is something to do with my hardware, or software or lack of.

I've read many posts here in this forum pertaining to this problem you have. From what I've read, the solution is to have at least 1GB of memory installed. Do a search for crosshairs and you'll read different remedies for this problem.

It's a fact. Your targeting cross hair won't be accurate unless you have at least 1GB of RAM. It's a mystery WHY that is; but it's a fact.

And like Walter Cronkite used to say: "That's the way it is."

Ya I had the same problem after I had to yank out a bad stick of 512MB which brought me down from 1GB and I started having the drifting crosshair problem. After I put back in another new stick of 512 it went away.

    It is a memory issue.
