Educated Discusion Please

Sense coming on here and noticing that alot of people also have the problem joining a room. im curious of why? Because honestly, i find it VERY hard to believe that while im staring at a screen watching "(3/6)" for 10 minutes, that no one in my part of the country, even my state, is not trying to join my kind of game mode.

The Play now (for me anyways) is an epic fail, i have not once, out of about 20 trys been able to join an existing game in progress, once i joined a room right after the round had ended, but then no one wanted to rematch >.<

I dont think the level is the reason why i cant find an opponent, i think its grouped in 1-20; 21-50; 51+ or something like that to keep the games fair, but theres gotta be alot of people in your lvl range at all times.

It could also be because the server trys to pair you with the perfect people for a lag-free environment. If your like me, it takes a LONG time to find that first game, but when your in game, the gameplay is very clean and iv only had lagg 2 games in my experiance, a very good ratio. so maybe the server takes so long to pair you up, is because they want to connect you with players with very similar ms.

For the future, i think it would be a wise idea to upgrade the "Play Now" mode, an option should be inplimented to take people that click Play now within 30 seconds of each other (2 or more) and put them in a waiting room with a group of 4, making the game available for play, same idea for 1 person who clicks play now and goes into a room with 5/6

Im NOT writing this post to go OMG DOES ANY1 ELSE HAVE PROBLEMS JOINING... im looking for educated guesses, or even straight up answers from the staff why it fails to find 5 people out of atleast 100,000 people online at the time

im HOPING that the problem ISNT the fact that there are only a couple hundred people at a time.... that would be BS

I'm having problems as well, but I cant even see anyone appearing in my sessions or anything. It won't even say I'm joining a session.

All the forum staff have confirmed so far is "the problem is known and we're working on it"

Your theories on reasoning sound pretty reasonable, but I can vouch for being paired with US players when I'm in NZ, so it's not even region-locked, let alone limited to state.

I think it does try and minimise lag to a great extent though, because I'm ALMOST always paired with people local (NZ/Aus), with few exceptions, and have only had one game with lag so far.

Play now has ALWAYS made me join manhunt, which I hate a lot because every team-mate is a ******. And I was planning to get to level 50 but I couldn't because I tried joining wanted but it took 30 minutes for me to join a game that is already in the middle.

And btw, I have been paired up with lvl 1-4 while I was a level 43.

Yeah, the matchmaking system doesn't seem to pay attention to level all that much, at least in my experience.
