    hello havent posted here in awhile I want to install a DVD/CD Burner combo and was wondering if anyone can tell me what would be a good one?

    Any cheap drive from NEC, Lite-on, LG are good. There is no need to spend big bucks on a DVD drive these days.

    I would recommend LiteOn drives, never had a problem with them, whereas I've had nothing but trouble with LG drives failing to read discs with copy protection (and thats without any burning software installed on the system!).
    The best defence against software piracy is producing a game worth buying.

    Yeah, $30 should get you a fine drive.
    The only thing to watch for is if you have a really new system. Some of the newer motherboards have only 1 IDE channel so if you have an IDE hard drive you might have problems running a burner on the same channel. In that case, look for a SATA drive which will be a little more money.
