There is a trainer +3 on Copy world that allows you to skip a battle scene using shift + K.

After pressing the key, the scene shows after he is pushed off the ledge...worked great!!!

I have tried this trainer and all it did was mess up my game (had to load an earlier save).

I indeed was able to bypass the godawful warrior that's supposed to be killed by crashing the three pillars on him, BUT this guy plays another (passive) role a few minutes later at the top of the tower where he makes the fertile ground fall all the way down to the bottom of the tower. However, with this trainer this just does not happen.

You have been warned.

And please Ubisoft, make a patch/cheat to give the player the option of skipping these battles or having the prince do autocombat or something. This is a marvelous game, but these sequences are driving many people up the friggin wall, and are seriously spoiling the game experience.
