I think you probably need more RAM (ignore what ubi say the requirements are - they lie)

You want 2gb to play this game. Once you've upgraded your RAM, that particular problem should be solved, allowing you to move on the next one that WILL crop up... I'm not going to hazard a guess as to which problem that will be, there are too many to choose from

i recommend at least 2 gig ram like munkey said , and a 6800 isnt very hard working these days , i got a 8800 GTS 640 mb superclocked from newegg for a good price , might want to pick up at least an 8800 GTS to run this as well

<STRIKE>I have not tested the newly Released GeForce 178.13 driver yet. You can test it out first if you like.</STRIKE>

Update* I've tested the 178.13 driver, which gave me the same old black screen problem.

So if you only have 1GB of Ram and A supported geForce video card. I would recommend using the 175.19 video driver.

Since, it's the only Driver that gets Story to work for me.

Get an eVGA GeForce 8, 9, or GTX card, they're slashing prices on Newegg right now.

Also, as others have mentioned, consider getting more RAM. Running high-intensity games like Crysis and Crysis Warhead (just to name a few) won't cut it on High, let alone Very High settings.

Make smart investments. That's all I can say. Treat your hard-earned money with care, and don't spend on a video card just because your friend has it. Do your research and act on it alone, just make sure your research isn't biased.
