I think that in the end when you have to make the "final choice" it is gonna be really easy. I fear that after I choose the right path on the first try I'm gonna say, "And you want me to believe that Atrus, Yeesha, and Escher all did that wrong ?!"

Hmmm, Myst game, ending -> easy? I don't think so. But that's just me. I know that I'll say I'll not use hints/cheats but I know myself too. I bet it'll take about 3 days for me to break that promise.

From what we can tell so far, as long as you are careful, thorough, and observant, and can make the occasional intuitive leap, you won't have too many problems with Myst 5. It's supposed to be the easiest Myst game since, well, Myst itself.

Now, that's not to say that Myst didn't have its own set of brainbusters -- the MazeRunner and its reliance on the Mechanical Age's rotation system comes to mind -- but it's not exactly, say, the bomb factory in Revelation or the Book Power system in Riven.

Yeah I heard that Myst 5 was going to be pretty easy...... then played the demo! Man, that was insanely difficult. I bet that demo turned a few people away!

Did you get the same demo that I did? I knew just what to do in ten minutes. It took around 45 minutes to solve it from there though.

People really vary in what they find "easy" and what they find "hard".

Personally, I'm hoping that I find the game "easy" myself, but I'm kind of a puzzle wimp! That's just me.

I think that the last half of the game should be extremely difficult, but maybe that's just me. I'm hoping that it will at least last me a couple weeks.
