Thread: How to start multiplayer? | Forums

Hello people! Just do like caldaar says!!!

You gotta reassign the controller (supposing you have only one, like me). Then you go back to the game, set up the other player, and you go back, reassign the controller back, and just do it as many times as it is requested (great way to think outside the box!, THEY GOTTA FIX THAT) . I am about to play our first song, bass - guitar setup, i paused for sharing it with anyone stuck like i was. Thanks caldaar!!!

It a litt hard to set up!! But heres how!

First you need to set up a system profile for your friend!!
Then you do need 2 controlers
then you hook up both guitares
Then both have to go through the menu's
Then you can scelet a song and play

    Thats how you do it.
I had trouble finding how to play 2 playes at first but I found to trick out.
I just wish you can make a in game profile rather have make a system profile!!

This may be asking too much but maybe your friend could bring a controller?

You CAN play multiplayer with one controller, when you set up player 1 profile you go to controller settings and set it to controller number 2 (as said before by other people). The only problem is that you will have to constantly switch it between controller 1 and 2 to be able to choose arrangement for each player. I have 2 controllers but one isn't wireless so I either have to buy a wireless one or an USB splitter, and I don't know will that introduce lag, so I use wireless one for both players and it works.

Wait a minute here . . . let me get this straight . . you have an 82inch tele and you don want to split the screen for multiplayer action. hmmmm.

I have a 72 incher and, ohhh, i don't know, maybe six controllers plus a plastic guitar, a plastic bass and an ion drum kit, all of which act as controllers. I've got so may controllers because we love having friends and family over and competely rocking the XBOX. With the 72 inches we can play 4 player split screen and each player has their own 35" screen.

C'mon dude. Step it up for the sake of friends and family. Share that big 'ol 82er with em all and get some controllers so everyone can join in the fun.

Here in the 21st century, video gaming is a communual affair!!!!

I have an XBOX, two controllers, a bass and a guitar and have the same issue. The game will not recognize the second controller or bass. Do I need to somehow sign the other player on first? I will try seeing if I can assign another controller number, but it is as if the system does not even see the second controller. It worked once so not sure why it won't work now.
