UK based here. Like I say though, this system isn't working for the majority of people by the looks of it. So therefore something should be done, as people have parted with their money and got screwed over I can't see it happening.
This could cost the company in the long run, there is so much bad feeling over this and no real response from them.

Just so everyone knows, I was able to return my game to EB Games here in Ontario, Canada, because I've barely been able to play it for the past 2 weeks. I couldn't resist getting it despite the DRM because I <3 The Settlers games. Blah.
Anyway, it just took about a 10 minute conversation with the store manager, but he seemed to be aware of the issue before I even got there and he approved my return request (because it's not your usual defective game issue).
Was pleasantly surprised he did that for me, although I'm sad it came to that. Just thought I would share my experience with you good folks.
Cheers.

Ubisoft :
I am extremely disturbed that posts have gone unanswered for DAYS.
The fact that you can choose to ignore a now 52+ page forum discussion regarding a clear flaw in your ingenious DRM.
The very least you can do for the consumer is provide at LEAST DAILY updates, but instead you choose to ignore this very simple task to try reassure your CUSTOMERS you are working on the problem.
This unprofessional weak useless approach is saddening to say the least.Do us all a favour and give us SOME sort of update so I dont feel like I ****ed my money against the wall.

"our technical teams have made progress but we are not yet able to say that the issue is completely resolved"
I know how to solve it! I think everyone does! A patch that removes the DRM, is that so hard?
