    All servers i see are w/ ping 9999,but i entry the server and are working normal... why?

    From the opposite standpoint, does anyone know how to fix this issue? I know about opening ports, but there are reports that it doesn't work. Does anyone have a complete answer to this issue, instead of an assumption?

    This issue can also occur if you don't have a router or firewall. It happened to me that way, and as a PC technician by trade, I did some tshooting but did not find the exact cause. I've only been able to attribute it to corruption in either windows or the game. Since formatting a drive is no big deal to me, I wiped the pc and reinstalled everything, the problem went away. here's another thread with the same topic, if you want to look:

    Yea, exactly. I don't think anyone really knows what the cause of this issue is. People always talk about ports, but I've done that and it doesn't help.
