i dont know but if it was an underbarrel thing it could either take up your secondary sport where your pistol used to be or were frags and flashys used to be (3-4) which wont make a difference because they have it planed to take the secondary spot

Since there is no secondary fire button in R63, it would be pointless to attach an M203 to the M16/M4. You could have it linked to your secondary weapon slot, but you would still have to switch between primary and secondary to shoot it off, so how would that make it any different than what's already in the game?

if it was attached then when u hit the switch weapons and everything ur guy would just have to prep the sights real quick lift the rifle and get the launcher ready and honestly theres not much difference from pulling out a regualr grenade launcher.

Having the M203 on the M16 or M4 would make an awesome looking gun and easier to fire your M203 without the wait between your guy swicthes weapons. In tense moments this would help.

Well if Ubi wanted to they could have used the black and white buttons to switch between the M203 and the actual gun its attached to.

The reason you wont see the M203 on the barrel of an assault rifle is because RS3 is ported from RS3:Raven Shield(PC) on the same engine, but tweaked for xbox performance. Any raven shield player can see the resemblance in the guns. The grenade launcher was never in Raven-Shield, thus the guns werent programed for it and no alternate fire was scripted(alt fire already said^^^). But the Rof with in it, i missed that.

So instead Ubi soft added the grenade launcher into the RS3:console as a secondary weapon w/ collapsible stock. Which in reality you would never see, ever. But team Rainbow has gotta be different.
