I'm sitting at the bar in my favorite watering hole, having a bowl of chicken noodle soup and a Mediterranean sampler (pita, hummus, tabooli, olives, sliced tomatos, grapes... and a beer. Discussing impressionism with my bar tender/waitress/kick boxer friend, listening to Jefferson Airplane, and contemplating the details of my next 45 automatic purchase...

    Life can be soooooo strange.

Personally speaking, the P-40 could contend on an equal footing with all the types of Messerschmitts, almost to the end of 1943.

I'm thinking of getting a Ruger .45 cal to compliment my current stock of 9mm, .40 cal, .380, and .38 special handguns. I'd love a 1911 derivative but they are just too pricey considering I'm splitting my budget between the Vette, paintball, computers, "gun cam" video for paintball, and saving for a 5.7mm PS-90.

Maybe one day I'll have them all.

    P.S.
Throw a real SVD into that mix also but at $5-$7k that's gonna be down the road just a bit.
