Thread: im having problems with assassins creed brotherhood | Forums

i recently purchased the game from direct 2 drive and have successfully download the game. when i first start the game i press the spacebar on the first cut scene to skip it but after it turns into a white screen and switches to a very laggy cut scene. is the problem normal to occur? i doubt this has to do with my computer specs.

i made a second attempt and i didnt press any keys and let the cut scene play( it went thru flawlessly). When it was over, a second laggy cut scene played and the monitor would turn off and turn on and play a very brief moment of the cut scene and repeat itself. As the monitor turns on the fan speeds up for a brief moment.

That is a strange issue - sounds like a local config issue to myself...

The fact the cut scene 'lags' could be your settings are too high for the game.. have you tried a lower setting / resolution?

The fact the monitor switches off, sounds like your screen resolution or refresh rate could be the issue..

Please remember that certain graphics cards, such as laptop version may not always be supported.

I suggest contacting Ubisoft Support to start the ball rolling, and in the mean time someone else may have a solution for you.

Please supply support with as much detail as you can, and also post back here with your system specs and settings,if you can post a dxdiag output that would help others a lot.

Odd that the game crashes at a lower setting?

Are all your drivers upto date? [graphics and sound]

    That's worth checking.

if no one from the community gives any ideas or help - you will have to contact Ubisoft Support.

Sounds like you are having some kind of Hardware issue. Your specs are pretty much fine though. Does this happen ONLY when you play Brotherhood, or even with other Games on your PC ??

Have you checked whether the Monitor cables are connected properly, and there is no dust on top of the GPU and CPU fan/Heatsink ? Are there any overheating signs on your computer ?

You can first try playing this game on only 2 CPU cores, if you wish ?? Disable 2 cores via the Task Manager, and then check the Gaming performance.

    Cheers,
    Daniel.
