After download of UPDATE PUTCH 16.07 the game don't work. I can enter in the game, start mission but after few minutes an error appear and close the game.
before this update the game work without error like this.

I have the same issue that appeared right after the patch - I load the game and play for about 4 or 5 minutes and it crashes. It just drops me back to windows without an error code or anything. Would love to have an error log or something to refer to!

There seems to be several separate threads on the forum about problems with the game crashing since patch 1.07 but I haven't seen any solutions yet. I'm having this problem myself. Been backward and forward with Ubi Support for 2 weeks now but they can't seem to get beyond the idea that it must be an outdated device driver!

In answer to your question cjanz, there is a log file created by the program. It should be located in your Documents folder under the path ...\Documents\Settlers7\Logfiles. The files seem to be in pairs, one created at the time you load the game and then one created when you exit (or it crashes).

My logfiles indicate the game is getting an error response message from Facebook as well as the following error exception: "ERROR: Exception 0xe06d7363 at 0x75d3fbae!
Unknown (time stamp 0x00000000) caused a Microsoft C++ exception in module kernel32.dll (time stamp 0x49e037dd, base address 0x75d00000) at 001b:75d3fbae.

I wonder if you are getting the same error? Ubi Support hasn't even acknowledged the errors in the copies of the log files I sent them over a weeek ago, they just keep asking me to send them dxdiag and then suggest I update the drivers I've already updated, so I don't know if the error messages in the log files are irrelevant or they just don't want to deal with them.

Same problem.... With Vista 64bit

You might like to look at my thread http://forums.ubi.com/eve/foru...1083258/m/1701061478 I had what appears to be a similar problem (created after installing the "bad" patch that was out for a couple of days that corrupted some of my archive files. It was fixed by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game.

Thanks for your reply but the problem isn't solved. I reinstalled the game but after 5 minutes playing the game crash.
