New to the PC version of Chaos Theory | Forums

Hey all, first off I played Chaos Theory VS mode religiously when the xbox servers were still up but lately I was missing the hell out of it so I ended up buying Chaos Theory on steam. Anyways, I've just got some questions being new to the PC version.

First off, I've used my xbox controller to play some of the single player of CT and it works just fine but VS mode doesnt seem to have an option for a game pad, anything I can do about this?

Secondly, my flashlight as a mercenery doesn't seem to work with my graphics card which I hear is a common problem. Any easy way to fix this?

Lastly, I know this may sound stupid but how do you type in the chat when in a VS session? I've pressed " ' " which seems to open some kind of chat window but its like nobody can read it.

Anyways, I'm just really excited to get back into this game again and it would be much easier if I could get some of these issues resolved, thanks in advance!

What was the problem with your flashlight, because I've been doing some research and it seems there are 2 common problems. One where the light turns on but doesn't work right, and one where it just doesn't turn on at all. Mine won't turn on at all.

Flashlight hotfix

just did this fix and it works. To tell you the truth I had know problems seeing any lights aside from my flashlight as far as I can tell but you never know

Thanks for the reply.

I fixed ages ago with the batch file fix.
I believe it makes ambient lighting work properly, which include the flashlight.
