Is Ghost Recon always going to take place in a symmetrical battle against a purely conventional enemy combatant? Will it ever reflect todays kind of warfare against low tech unconventional forces?

I mean even the Mexican insurgents were pretty conventional and had nice toys. They had attack helicopters, Abrams tanks and G36s! Not bad for a rebelious third world army.
