Iv just downloaded RUb 1.45. Silly question, but how do I install it? What folder do I put the RUb1.45.7z file into?

Hi Ole.

OK, first you need to go to your SilentHunterIII folder, and make a new folder in there called MODS

Into this folder you need to extract the RUb1.45 folder (ie. so there is a RUb1.45 folder in the mods folder, that contains all the RUb files). If you're having trouble extracting the archive, you need to download a program like WinRAR, or 7-zip.

Then you need to download the JoneSoft Generic Mod Enabler from here and extract the executable to the SilentHunterIII folder.

Run this executable, and you should then see the RUb1.45 mod in the available mods list, and it should be a simple matter of enabling it with the arrow button.

This useful program backs up all your original SH3 files, so you can revert back to the original game with no hassle at all!

Iv ordered the game & it should arrive tomorrow. So iv been downloading patches & mods ready for when I get it.
