Thread: What older sim games do you still enjoy playing? | Forums

I was looking through my older sim games and came upon "Panzer Elite" It's a old ww2 tank sim game.

The graphios never were that good with it but what it had was that the fundementials were all done well. When you play it from inside a german or american tank you really feel you are in the battle.

Can't say this for many modern sims whatsoever...

I still have Flanker 2.5 on the HD. It's obviously not as good as LOMAC, but it runs better on my PC. I need to get my X52 programed for it before I play it again, though.

I had EAW ready to go for a while, but I haven't played it since IL-2 1946 came out so I took it off.

So you like it huh? I never could get it to run well with my older crappy computer. Is it still worth trying?

Flanker 2.5? Yeah, if you can't run LOMAC very well it makes a great alternative. You have 3 planes to choose from (Su-27, Su-33, MiG-29) and the graphics aren't too bad. If LOMAC runs well on your PC, don't bother.
