Most commenly missed Journeycloth is the one on the board which is near the place you started the game.
But I'm afraid that to open those doors you have to restart the game, luckely you are still at the very beginning. (btw I did the same, forgot to open the 2nd door before closing the 1st)Later on in the game when something goes wrong with a puzzle you can just reset that one age to clear the puzzles, but for the cleft that is not possible.
Sorry to say but a restart is wat you need.

    Dvora,

Let's make sure we're all talking about the same doors here...

There are three doors in the Cleft -- one in the tree, and two that are fairly close together on one side of the Cleft on two seperate ledges. One of those is open by default when you arrive and takes a little exploring/manuevering to get to...

If you managed to get the power on and then closed that one open door from the inside and then quit the game -- then, yes... this could be a problem -- if you didn't activate Yeesha's message and then touch the journey cloth that she causes to appear.

(Those doors are a funny thing -- many of us beta tested this game for a long time and it was released before anyone realized that you could go in those rooms, close the doors, exit the game... and then not be able to get back in since the default starting point is back out in the desert!)

If you've already gotten the journey cloth in the room behind those two doors -- that is, if you activated and heard Yeesha's message already -- you shouldn't have to restart the game. You're simply missing one of the other journey cloths. There are seven in all -- three out in the desert and four down in the Cleft.

Once you find all seven, the tree door will open.

Now, if those two doors are closed and you didn't get the cloth in there, you'll have to begin again.

Say you have that scenario where you've closed both doors after touching the journey cloth within.

Will it be problem when you come back here later? Because you'll still have to get in that room again.

I'd just hate to have someone complete the whole rest of the game and then find out that they have to start all over again because those doors are still closed...

Yes, that will be a problem as you won't be able to open the doors from outside.
Even if you finish the certain part of the game and have access to the cleft, you will not be able to enter that room if you close both doors and then excit the game.
Only in Untìl Uru you could enter the rooms when you have the christmas KI and can spawn around. But that's not the case here.

On a side note, I am curious if the doors will not open again if you enter later, but dvora78, do not try this out! Best option is to restart the game.

    You know...

I thought of that a little while after I posted... You're both right. That would be even more frustrating! Arriving at the Cleft and not being able to finish the game!

Seems like we ought to be able to crawl in the window or something. Talk about a BIG gameplay flaw...

Yes. Crawling in the window would make so much sense. I think restarting the game is the best thing to do. Better now than later.
