Thread: role of support player in MP | Forums

Perhaps if support were improved slightly, more people would be willing to play support.
If the support could carry more rounds per clip in the M4,if they could carry 5 instead of 2 smoke grenades, if they had the option of a machete and also if they could carry grenades, perhaps more people would be willing to be support. I hate it when a team of eight has only one support. How can one support keep up with wall building, repair and flag protection. Also, they think support can build walls and protect the flag all at the same time. On offense support is always necessary also. Maybe with these improvements, more people would be willing to take on the role of support and learn that there are advantages to being a support person (speed of movement, stealth, etc).

I much prefer to be an engineer. I don't find gunner challenging enough.

engineer is the best position in MP.

i should dig up some screen shots, but I have scored over 1000 pts on several occassions in a 30min halves game.

I usually used only the pistol and could rack up 40-60 kills depending on map. My high is 87 with pistol only

the m4 is also probably the best weapon in the game if you know how to use it: auto and single shot.

and what more could you ask from the C4? You can kill up to 8 people with that provided you set one in a hummer :-D.

the engineer is the toughest and hardest person to hit in the game. They take the most headshots, most body shots, and are the most elusive to hit.

again, if you are very "Active" in the game, keeping up walls, blowing up walls, killing, and capping flags is a cinch as an engineer.
