    Try this, and then please come back to confirm, if it worked:

    il2fb.exe {IP_address : Port_number} -name {call_sign}

    Example:
    il2fb.exe 202.92.214.78:21000 -name sw0ks

    I haven't tried to launch the program that way, but I have seen these arguments when HyperLobby client makes IL2 join an existing server on Internet.

    Hence I would appreciate your confirmation, if it works or not.

    A small piece of software helped me to see what HL passes to IL2. I was also looking for this info for a long time, too. But that little 'spying' doesn't really give any idea about what other parameters could be possibly passed give on the command line.

    The UBI dedicated server launcher uses these parameters:

    il2server.exe -GS -name {username} -room {roomname} -port {portnumber} -maxclients {numberofplayers} -lobbyaddr 216.98.52.140 -lobbyport 41006 -groupid -405 or -438.

    I have no idea how to launch a server to get registered to Hyperlobby. I guess you have to 'fool' the HL client somehow, but that is a lot of trying and guessing.

    These things suck. Lots of potential, but zero documentation.

    If you mean the Dedicated Server, rename the ils2server.exe file to il2fb.exe and have HL search for it when you (re)connect (ctrl-shift something). Launch a game in a 'Dogfight' room, that's it.

    That's how I run our dedicated server - isn't perfect yet but it works (settings won't show right)
    cya around...

    Oh yeah, I know that, but thanks anyway What I meant: don't know how to lauch the dedicated server from command line (i.e., without moving the mouse and clicking here and there manually).

    I have seen threads on HL asking for this question, since it can be handy to re-register a server after a computer restart, or a downed internet connection for a while.

    for now i don't care about il2server args, i'd like to know only the onces you pass in il2fb.exe: for example if something like "il2fb.exe 127.0.0.1:21000 -name sw0ks -password blablabla" works not to write the password when the game start

    To get the settings to be saved, take the users folder from your client, and paste it in the server il2 folder

    Is this some sort of time warp? Why answer a seven-year-old question?
