The power for every unit is kind of weird. I understand that tank kills transport and transport kills gunship. If you play End War with engineers there almost the weakess unit on the field! Regular army troops can kill your engineers prety fast and other unist is a little fast if there exposed but there so slow in movement! Your riflemen platton can also be killed by regulaar army troops and it can be so iritating so see your advance troops get killed by regular, no sheild, Drafted army troops! I also under stand a fast attack vehical can kill infrantry but its amazing to see them kill transports and gunships. Maybe ubi can fix some of these promblems if posible.

Yeah, one thing people don't really understand is that the JSF, EFEC, and SGB are not the regular army of their respective countries, but the elit Special Forces units. The force recon units you can deploy are part of the regular army, hence their less advanced weapons and vehicles.
But you make a good point. Special operations troops should be able to defeat weak army troops.

If you have seals running across a field out of cover the 4th infantry division(don't have a clue if they exist, but I'll make them up now if they don't) should have no problem taking them out.

Yea, the JSF is just the marines with clancy's special forces mixed in.

On the topic of regular army troops I wish they played a role like how they do in solo campaign, not just the running out from deploy point and the two sides just killing each other, but involvement more then just force recon.

Like on raids or sieges have them help guarding the buildings, or on conquests have like a few riflemen move out to station at the uplink you just captured, of course these will be weak units(weaker then force recon) but still...
Broke my signature and reset my ignore list, well done Ubisoft...

The JSF is not the Marines. It's some crazy demented version of an Army Rapid Deployment Brigade that they insisted on calling a development of the MEUs.

Clancy should know better. The Joint Chiefs will never give us the top of the line gear.

i disagree completely. the engineers are one of the best units in the whole game. they are the gel which all the other units are tied to. Placing an engineer unit with rifle at a central uplink is an excellent way to hold down a critical map sector. engineers need transports to move though as hoofing it will take forever. Forward deployment is critical if you want to use eng. properly as well.

Don't leave them at the back of the map or they will get deepstriked.

in cover they are effective against everything but artillery and rifleman. if you keep them covered with transports the worst case scenario is that you opponent tries to storm them with rifle you can always load up into your transport while the enemy rifle take fire from your transport oftentimes while they are out of cover.

so far for myself my nemesis has been enemy artillery covered by a command vehicle or transport. without air support it can be hard to crack.

problem:lima is guarded by regular army platoon they have fast attack veh wich means they will shoot down gunships and damage trans which in turn damages the rifles inside.

Solution: you could spend 12 cps on tank trans rifle and send them in tank first which would still take a bit and give them time to react plus this wouldnt work if they have air support one strike and half your rifles and trans are gone,

or for 10 cps you could deepstrike a rifle right in the link into cover were he will own the army platoon and if he needs added help u can use emp on the vehicles to by time to get the link.if he sustained alot of damage during the operation just evac to get some more cps back.so the operation cost 10 to 13 cps and gave back 4 to 6.faster cheaper safer
