Thread: Please, Ubi... just a couple simple answers. | Forums

I'm a huge fan of most of your past releases for the Xbox, I buy your games within a week of release in order to help you rack up those impressive initial sales numbers.

What I, and many others would like to know is:

Are your games being rushed out by some corporate cheeseball? Are the development teams being rushed by perceived fan pressure (I assure you, I'd rather wait and recieve a better product)

Does your testing department still exist? What do they actually do?

How are the folks who don't have XBL going to get the patches? Are they going to be able to? If not, can they get a refund?

I realize that you guys, the moderators of this forum are fed up with the constant complaints (even if they aren't all worded like a 13 year old on crack wrote them, the negativity has to be trying) For my part, I would mainly like some answers, so would several others that I've seen. We ARE your fans, believe it or not, otherwise we wouldn't be here, we wouldn't have bought Lockdown, and we wouldn't be unhappy with the product. We expect a lot from you as a highly regarded developer/publisher, when you didn't don't deliver we feel letdown.
Bottomline is: I'd love to support and believe in you again, give me a reason.

On the other hand, be thankful that you have a live account and that the developers can push fixes/patches to you via downloads. Also, in my humble opinion, I think if given the choice: we would opt to get a game early, even with a few bugs/glitches, jsut to be able to play it, rather than wait longer to get a game, that will likely still need a few fixes/patches.

Why can you folks answer other questions so quickly, yet fail to explain exactly how these errors occured in the first place?

Maybe they think there are answers that we will turn around and shove down their throats or something? I like you just want to know what's going on?

If there is an employee of UBISOFT that can log-on later incognito and explain that would be great.

    I don't know :-(

I do know an explaination would go a long way towards smoothing this whole thing over, for me.

EXACTLY! This is what I keep saying. They always dismiss my posts when I ask these questions. I never get an answer.

If you look at th eend credits for Lockdown, see how many bloody testers they had on this game? I wanted to know what the hell they were all doing because the amount of bugs in this game is ridiculous.

I am a gamer, I bought this game not even looking for bugs, yet found them as I progressed through the game. A Tester is PAYED to find bugs, and none of these testers found anything? If they did, why were these issues not addressed and fixed BEFORE the release of the game?

I have asked many questions and never get a response.

I'm starting to suspect nobody plans to answer these questions.

Please, I haven't been disrespectful in any way, and all I want is some sort of explanation.

If the mods here cannot answer, tell me whom to contact.

... still awaiting an answer as to what these testers were actually testing. It sure as hell wasn't this bug ridden game.

I mean... what the hell happened to the Rainbow series? We get a game that is COMPLETELY different to the previous Xbox installments and just to throw a few extra punches, it comes complete with a truck load of bugs.

    ****.

Btw... I am not pulling the extra punches, I meant it seems like Ubisoft were.

No offense to the mods on here but you seem to be answering a lot of the "How long for the patch?" etc stuff but not any of the important stuff like what the hell your testers were doing and also what you are going to do about the single player bugs and what you are going to do with people without Xbox Live.

Come on Ubi... sort it out.
