I love the FC2 health system, it gives a realistic feel of franticness as you fiddled in the heat of battle with morphine or dressed a disturbing wound while bullets rained about. With any game I always look to disable mini maps, they are unrealistic and a distacting eye sore. The added chore of self navigation (wihout the zombie like waypoint following) is enjoyable to me. It also seems to make a game world feel much larger and mysterious. Heck! If I could I'd have my characters waypoint taken off the map!
