1. First thing would have to be with the M99 Sniper Rifle. Im sure many of you have encountered this and have also used this tactic (I know i have done both, and it is very effective) but snipers roaming with the scope out looking around corners and then whaming anybody that comes around from about 10feet away whilst standing. I find it quite ridiculous that a person can stand and shoot a .50cal rifle without having any sort of reprecussions. <span class="ev_code_RED">Maybe change it so that one can NOT shoot a Sniper Rifle, or atleast the .50cal while standing.</span>
2. Secondly, another tactic that I am very guilty for using is the Grenade Launcher from about 10 feet away. I think <span class="ev_code_RED">the MINIMUM range on the Grenade Launcher is way too short, and should be increased some what.</span>
3. <span class="ev_code_RED">Next thing would be the ammount of text that is permitted to me typed.</span> Seems alittle short and would be prefered if more room was added for that.
4. Another thing that could possibly be added for visual reasons, is the <span class="ev_code_RED">ability to change the opacity on the "tags/names/objective markers" that appear on ones screen.</span>
5. Lastly, the most obvious thing I'm suer everyone has noticed is the compass lettering is very small and hard to make out.

I pretty much agree with all.
1. Maybe have a weapon sway that changes for stance, like Americas Army and Armed Assualt have.
2. Definetly. Too short of distance.
3. I havent tried to see how much could be typed.
4. Yeah that could be a good thing, distance opacity too. Like BF2.

1) as it would require u to do in real life... why change it? u wanna look down on a clif? kneel. dont prown.
2) how would u suggest limiting a grenade launcher's range? the only way i can think of is by making the explotion radius bigger which will make them even more lethal.
4) i got used to it. i can partly tell how far i am from a teammate now. i got used to it.
6) it's already there. i click the mouse but i believe ESC is fine too.
9) random spawn points is great, but hard to do. many maps will require to be changed to enable more secure spawn areas. seems like tough to do.
invulnerability for 5 seconds seems like a decent and easy solution... :/
10) i think this is implemented in the next patch. gecko promissed. i hope he's right.
12) i see blood constantly. it's not by the galons but it's there.
13) i agree. being shot isn't pronounced at all and not enaugh.
p.s. - i think things should be bundled too. a few days ago i opended a thread called
"minor changes that are missing (according to demo) ".
maybe we should someone put those 2 threads together. moderator?

in the first GRAW you hit anything too close to yourself , it would not fire off because in a grenade launcher they use whats called a timed grenade.. which unlocks after a few milliseconds.... and thats how GIN could so it the timer system being lengthened, like in GRAW1, sometimes the box frames of some pillers would be larger then the actual piller so it would bounce off them and it would be a dud

If you are prone and are laying down on a cliff, (which is the way a sniper actually is supposed to snipe for maximum effectiveness), and you have a full view of the map, then why are you only able to look at the clouds? Unless you crawl over and almost fall of the damn cliff, will you be able to effectively look around and shoot, and snipers are supposed to be invisible, so please if you arent gonna be a solution to the problem, then dont post. These things if not fixed will cause me to not buy this game toperia.</span>

<span class="ev_code_RED">Are you even paying attention? no one wants to limit the range, we want to extend the range. And we are not talking about the blast radius either, although that could use some improvements.. the range of the launcher is 10 feet or more detonation. It should be launched 25 feet or more for detonation with a blast radius of 10 feet... anything within 10 feet of the blast should feel some of the effects.</span>

Well instead of changeling the fact you cant fire i mean common, obviously you can , just increase the sway of snipers so then its harder to pull off a shot standing, when kneeling a bit better and when laying right down almost on the money, if its got a pod then right on

Guys, if we start going at each other's troats (sp?), we won't get anywhere and this nice thread will turn into a common thread (read: unvaluable!).
Live and let die... post your cons and let other chose their own, otherwise, we won't get anywhere. what's fun for some maybe annoying for others but we need changes, that's for sure.
