I can't beat that four cat-like creatures after i passed the sacrifice room and climbed up to the little room with a switch button on the wall and thorn - trap beneath it. Please advise how to handle the battle...i am about to give up

I can't beat that four cat-like creatures after i passed the sacrifice room and climbed up to the little room with a switch button on the wall and thorn - trap beneath it. Please advise how to handle the battle...i am about to give up

Enter the "octagon room".
Return to the "balcony" just outside.
Run over to the wall underneath the wall button.
When a bunch of "blade dancers" are on the spike floor, wall run vertically onto the button.
The button activates the spikes to destroy a bunch of them all at once.

Technically you do not even need to fight them; but it is good experience to learn how to perform that maneuver which may be useful to you later in the game.
