Hi,

I never thought I would say this, but I'm getting tyred of seing the same cockpit over and over again, in the same mission over and over again, the same kills over and over again...

"PARTIAL SUCCESS" always!!!!!!!
I am supposed to escort the A10s and make sure they get safely to the base, I kill all enemy aircraft, and follow them ignoring waypoints to the base.

Now the question is if one gets shot down do I fail the mission. No plane gets near them but how the f**k do i prevent them from getting shot down by SAMs????? I'ts not my call. What am is supposed to do?? drop flares and hope one hits they SAM operator on the head?? Please help someone or I will end up puting an axe through my screen

When you think you are done give your AWACKS a call (baskshlash "\" then "F5" then "F1")and ask them the vectoer to the next bandit. If they say "clean" than you have downed all the bandits. If they give you a vector then there are more bandits on the way, go and send them on a free parachute ride with the reset of ther freneds.

Make sure you get to the first set of bandits before the A-10's get to their target or they will get shot down. That means follow the waypoints and listen to the AWACKS call out the heading of the bandits. After yo donw the first set then ask for the vector to the second set, and I guarenty that more bandits are on the way. I have done the mission about 4 times and only lost an A-10 once.

I have spoken to the awacs, they say it's all clean... but my a10s keep getting downed by SAMs and i can't help it. I Suppose i'll have to keep trying.

Thanks for the help, and any further insight as to what esactly has to be done (or not done) to acomplish the mission will be very apreciated.

It is hopeless! I got the same problem with Su-27 campaign mission #3. Numerous times i destroyed all F4, F5 and F-16's, but Su-24 never acomplish their part, and that is to destoye sam radars or so.

Then Su-24 just use all of their weapons and fly around for ever. I stayed in the air for additional 10 minutes, after splashing all bandits, that did not help either. It always end up as "Partial Success"?

I finished this mission before the patch, but now, after the patch, it is just impossible to finish it.

Yeah I have the exact same problem, there is another mission like this in SU27 I think. I can down all the air threats no problem but the A-10s always get worked by SAM/AA, I've tried flying over the A-10 target area to draw fire, I do draw a lot of attention and usually die 50% of the time. Only way I can see accomplishing this mission, because the AI F-16's flying SEAD arent really in a hurry to take out the AA threats.

I get the idea ALL mission have problems after the patch. In the beginning they said only the F-15C Quick Mission had become erratic, but why only thtat one? It make more sense if all missions are behaving weird now. Whch seems to be the truth...

Pre patch I had no problem with this mission, I don't know how mnay times I had a go at it but it was only once or twice.

Post patch it's a bloody nightmare, at least ten times now I've shot down all the aircraft and been given a failure or partial success because the A10's have been downed by ground fire. The problem seems to be that the F16's flying SEAD don't actually engage any SAM's or AAA by the target, they both ignore their waypoints and fly north to attack the search radars at the enemy airfield.
