Hello silent hunter adict..
I am using the "grey wolves" mod in my SH3. Then I tryed to use Rub1.45 to, but that messed up my game, and it crashed. Is there any others mods that works with GW?
I diddent like the dark water in GW. Cant make any good sceenshots of deapth charges exploding around my sub. And I want the famous Das Boot melody to, if possible.
So if there is anyone that can help me it would be greate. A link to some good mod page, or eaven better, make me a list of mods that will work with GW and not mess up my game...

The first thing you should do is download the JSGME. This great little utility, once installed correctly, will install all your mods for you, while backing up the original files. If you ever want to change mods, just use JSGME to uninstall a particular mod, and add the new. It could'nt be easier, and I don't think there's a person on this forum who dose'nt use it for their mods.

As for the dark water, if you did'nt like the water in GW, I think you're gonna hate the water in RUB. Being a realism mod, it drasticly cut down the visibility of the water. There is a program, SH3 Commander, which allows you to fine tune alot of things in the game to your taste. I believe one of those things is water clarity.

The CTD problem is another issue. Things may have gotten borked up as you changed mods. Mabey a complete uninstall/reinstall, and patching to 1.4 is in order.Don't forget to defrag after you uninstall, and after you reinstall! Hope this helps.

I will do this things you tell me. I allso use the JSGME, but not for grey wolves. They recommended not to use that program for GW.

I don't, when ever I try to use it, it freezes, or crashes, lucky me....

But for others, I hear it's a beauty.

Hmm, there are a lot of mods I use I got the one Uber-mod Grey Wolves, but that one have a new version coming out real soon now, so just wait a while for that I guess....
I will list the ones I know work with GW:
Real Damamge
Improved smoke mod
SHIII Commander (you can tinker with water clearity there)
SHIIIGen (fun one, it will give you an intellegence report, but you have to save, exit, then run SHIIIGen, then reload your game, there will be intellegence reports on your nav map.)
Air power mod( adds new planes, better aircraft AI, and the new planes have rockets!)
and I have to install the bad weather guns mod yet, I will get you links to all those later, if you want.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
