Thread: Do you think the florescent vision should be in CT? | Forums

If you read the book, there is a use for the 3rd bulb on your goggles. Your goggles actually have night vision, thermal vision, and a florescent mode. Sam used it atleast 4 or 5 times in the book. I think it would add a nice little touch to the gameplay to be able to spot faded footprints and other things that could give you a heads up that you wouldn't get, unless you turned on the florescent mode.

It's not a different vision for each bulb, or else he'd have only one eye open when using it.

I know that. I think that whenever you turn on a vision, the cloest 2 bulbs to your eyes have that vision. But even if this is true, why is there 3 if you only need two?

The third one pick up any light, and projects it to make nightvision.

I always considered the 3rd "bulb" to be the binoculars, which is why you only see the mode as one circle. But I guess putting it over your eye may be kinda tough.

Oh. But I know for a fact that Sam's goggles are capable of producing thermal, night vision, and florescent modes. It clearly states this in the book

The book is fake. Ubi devs even said the most unrealistic thing in SC is the multiple vision modes.

What do you mean 'unrealistic'? Do you mean it by it would be impossible to fit 2-3 vision modes in one headpiece?
