the docs said 3.9 for radeon too i think. i have 4.2 though, and they work fine. funny ATI said don't update unless you're having probs, so i didn't go 4.3

Ask 5 people and you'll get 3 answers well...since there are basically 3 widely used drivers out there for ATI and FarCry compatability.

I guess I don't know why people are reluctanct to try new drivers...you can uninstall and reinstall. Seems like a BIG issue to some.

I think your success with a particular driver set is going to depend on your system and the settings you choose to run the game at.

I don't think there is a right answer to your question...but thats just my opinion.
