  1. #1
Hey, i know there has been alot discussions of Crashing GRAW, but i still havent find any help of it.
    My computers Specs:

    PCI
    CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz
CPU Speed: 3.01 GHz Performance Rated at 4.51 GHz
    System RAM: 1023.2 MB
Operating System:Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (Build 2600)
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT (GeForce 6600 GT)
    Video Card Features

    Video RAM - 128.0 MB
Video Card 3D Acceleration - Yes
Video HW Transform & Lighting - Yes
    Vertex Shader Ver. - 3.0
    Pixel Shader Ver. - 3.0

    DirectX Version: 9.0c
    Free Disk Space: 130.9 GB
    1*total size= 79,9 GB, 2*total size= 152 GB

    CD/DVD: LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-1213S

The thing is when i play coop some time(~from 20min to 90min) screen freezes. I can hear other things, such as shooting etc, in fact i can even shoot but i just cant see it anymore. Screen is like half black half blue. I have tried everything: reinstalling, deleting that PhysX Ageia hardware, updateing graphic drivers etc.
Is there anything i can do?

I'm having the same problem. Same system specs, except vid card is BFG 6800U OC 256MiB AGP.
Of course, any ideas would be great.

yer vid card is 128 meg? yer lucky to be running it.....

anywho, the problem sounds like an overheat to me... is it possible to alt+tab the program or Ctrl+alt+del it and quit? or is the screen just gone with the sound left behind?

    hmmm
heh, a Pentium that claims to run faster than its clock... righty-o.... AMD i believe as i have seen, but i've never seen a Pentium go or act faster without an OC.....

speaking of which, you have anything OC'ed?

I have the same problem. My PC is Athlon and all higher spec than above - ALTHOUGH my on board sound probably isnt up to current Direct X requirement - maybe this is the problem? Happens even if I switch off EAX.

if you recently ran windows update and got the DirectX update with it, yeah, could be the Drivers need a quick reinstall.

    what are your specs?

believe it or not, this game will only run on special systems apparently, otherwise it likes to crash in most any instance at random.

Uhm, so overheating right?MM...i have thought about it..and also thought about getting new graphic card AGAIN. I have no ideas left, cause things seems to be updated and stuff...also it quits when CTRL+alt+del activated.

Well I bought a Creative XFi Card and having put it in a couple of days ago I have played this game with no crashes a couple of times. So this may well endorse my theory that it was my on board sound that was causing the problem.
