Everyone says their spec ops are the best in the world.
The guy's military jacket/med records seem to be recovered from his damaged cross-com, which was found (presumably still with John Doe still wearing it) in Paris. Everything on that cross-com points to him being an US Army officer.
Shame would been good to play as someone who wasn't American for once. A bit of difference.
Oh yes and the SAS are the best ( Or atleast top 5)

If you are talking the best direct action special operations unit and not counterinsurgency/indigenous personnel training/etc

I was going to say "your mom" for #5, but alas, it's not as funny as it was when I was 15.
This obviously is an American, however I'd love a good SAS based game. You're right, the SAS are the best there is.

He was shot in the right arm during the defense of Atlanta, got captured possibly during the retreat, had the cross-com on him, was tossed in a cell and had video feed put on his face while he rested in his cell, the stuff on the right is all off his Cross-com and the people holding him captive are trying to decrypt all the info which is why some of the info is still classified and poor quality
He's a Ghost Leader and as far as I know, only the Americans have Ghost squads

Makes sense. He was wounded in Atlanta but his cross-com was found in Paris. And his cross-com had a record of his Defense of Atlanta Medal even though he was injured and captured immediately afterward.
What happened? Was his cross-com shipped par avion?
Where did you read it was found in Paris?
