The only add-on I would like to see added to this game, at some point, are lifeboats. The animations of sinking vessels are so realistic that the only thing missing are crewmen abandoning ship. That would be a nice touch. Imagaine being able to wait to dispatch a ship while the crew abandons ship. That would be neat!
Just a thought. Perhaps in SH4. Or a mod?

The devs already addressed this and it was left out intentionaly for moral reasons. They will not be adding this.

It fell off the sinking torpedo boat. I guess he shouldn't have came after me in that nasty weather!!
I have hit a torpedo boat with my deck gun and had people fly off the boat. Thought it was a nice touch but I can see why they didn't add life boats.
This old nutshell was covered quite extensively in a thread that ran for some 6 months or so LOL.
The lifeboat poll thread is in here somewhere.Waste of time now though as lifeboats wont ever appear in SH.
Maybe in a sea on a world far far away.......like Pluto for example !
