Thread: Getting rid of the special sword (minor spoiler) | Forums

Ok, once you get hold of the King's Sword near the end of the game, is there any way to get rid of the blasted thing? I know it's got infinite durability and you can't throw it, and I've tried entering the codes for special secondary weapons, and neither of them worked.

Maybe it's possible to edit some of the game files to make it either breakable or throwable? Or possibly create a trainer program? I have the PC version, by the way.

This is mainly because I find the King's Sword makes the latter part of the game much too easy, and I think climbing the Tower of Babel should be more of a challenge - but as it is, those Thralls who were so scary earlier die to a single hit which they never seem to block!

(I'd also like to be able to transform into the Dark Prince at will, but that's what we call "wishful thinking". And while we're granting wishes, I'd like an alternate ending. Also a huge pile of gold, a pet dragon, and the moon on a stick.)

you can mod any game on computer if you have the right program

and i hate that sword as much as you do it is so powerful and one hit kills its boring the longer it takes to kill an enemy the more realistic it is bah!

but you don't have the sword for long so i guess its sorta alright
