The game seems to crash very often in HOF2.1 custom games (after playing 2-4 rounds). Sometimes it even resets the computer.
I recently upgraded my computer from 1 gigs of ram to 3 gigs so maybe theres a memory issue going on? ive tried different page files settings but with no succes.

It is definitely not a memory leak here.
Put your monitor and video card's resolution to the game's maximum of 1280x1024 (32bit) (60Hz)
Make sure you have the DirectX9.0c SDK (April 2007) installed.
Reboot the PC and, then launch HoMM5:H.o.F. v.2.1.
In the Options menu, select Video and Sound and set the adventure maps resolution' performance and Quality to its max. of 1280x1024. The rest of the Options are entirely up to your own specific tastes and leisure.

Hi and thx for the reply. I tried to update my bios and remove the old ram and now it seems to run fine when i start a new game (loaded games from the old configuration seems to still crash ?)
I prefer running the game at 1920*1200 since its my screens native
- and yes its not too good on performance but still..
thx again!
