Thread: For Those Who Workout | Forums

Does anyone here have a weekly workout regimine? If so what is it? I workout M-W-F and I'm supposed to run on my days off but I don't because I sweat so much at my job. So I say thats my cardio but its only an excuse not to run because I hate running so much.
I switch my routine every week. So its something like:

3x supersets of pull-ups and body squats
(1 minute rest in between a superset of both)
    3x supersets of push-ups and double-crunches
(1 minute rest in between a superset of both)
3x supersets of alternating leg squats and any excercise using resistance.

I dont have access to a pull-up bar so I use resistance bands. I workout at home too which is veeeeerry convenient for me.

If you have a diet post that too. Mine basically is this:
    Breakfast
    2 egg whites
1 cup of high fiber cereal
    1 cup of 2% milk
    1 vitamin

    Snack
    6 almonds
    1 banana

    Lunch
    3 oz. of turkey
    1 cup of lettuce
    1 apple

    Snack
    1 protein shake (post-workout)
    1 banana

    Dinner
    3 oz. chicken
    mixed vegetables
1 cup of salad with some type of light dressing

If any of you have your own routine I would be interested in hearing about it.

Man you are much more disciplined than me!

I eat a lot of tofu and rice and organic stuff and I try to workout every other day when I can.

I really need to step it up...

My problem is, I don;t really want to gain muscle. I danced for 17 years so I have muscle left over. I just want to get rid of the fat that has generated around it... You know, get back to my lean shape. Now, I'm just too curvy. Don't like it.

I don't mind having a bit of fat on me--it makes me feel big. I havn't really started any workout, considering I'm kinda young, but I hope to change that in high school if I join the crew team and get some serious weights. For now, I just stick to dumbells and riding my bike.

I know what you mean gypsy....I just recently started stepping it up and found a routine I can just do at home instead of driving to the gym every other day. There are workouts you can do to get lean and cut instead of working out to gain muscle mass.

4 sets of pushups/situps every second day, increasing the set count as I get stronger.

Run whenever I feel like it.

I used to get most of my workout at Judo and Jiujitsu, but due to my ******* job (4am mornings!) training is currently off until I'm back in school.

    And what's a superset?
