I've always rather fancied the blunt nosed versions of the Albatros. Not sure if you've seen this one of Mikael Carlson's latest addition to his collection. Looks lovely as it rolls out of the hangar.

For those not in the know about such things (i.e. me), the Davis Gun was intended as an anti-submarine weapon, firing forwards and downwards - or more precisely, firing a shell forwards and downwards, while simultaneously firing lead shot backwards and upwards, to counter the recoil!Seems to have had limited success...

Best news of all is the reloads for Lewis guns and the ability to tilt the thing and fire upwards. Look out DFW's, it's payback time

Yup. I think I'm in love...
Only snag so far seems to be that the bombsight is only calibrated to 100mph. Have to throttle back to bomb.
