hi. ive just bought the full game of Splinter Cell:PT on 4 cd roms. installed it and everything seemed fine.
When i try and run it so it, it reaches the main menu and then the following video but then crashes to my desktop.
The configuration shows that i dont have the hardware for pixel shading?
Thing is though i managed to play the single player demo alright (liked it so bought full copy)
My spec is:
Laptop
2.8 P4
512 MB RAM (128MB is shared for video)
Video chipset is: ATI radeon IGP 345M (graphics by)
40GB
......
Its really annoying because i really hope i havent wasted my money.
Can anyone help...do i need to get a patch for the full game?
Cheers for any useful replies in advanced

Unfortunately laptops are not officially supported. They have worked for some people, but not for most. Sorry!

Wot. that really sucks big time. I thought if i can run half life 2 on my laptop i would be able to run splinter cell 2.
Thing is i bought it from a website and returns are only accepted if item is faulty.
UbiSoft...be more precise on you minimum spec.jesus thats annoyed me â£â£ down the drain.
cheers : (

if u really can't refund it, play it on a pc. IF not then sell it lol, dunno what to tell you

If it "crashes to desktop" then perhaps you shouldn't put your console system above your desktop.
This must be what you are talking about since this is the console forum.

Why is this in the console forum

Apparently when you click on "Forums" at the UBI Soft site, this is the one it starts you out at.
