Why do the mercs screens flash blue? | Forums

i think it means the spies successfully hacked the blue terminal

Nope it means he has his EMF on.

its when any terminal is succesivly hacked, all players (spy and merc) screen flashes blue

I believe the Mercs Faceplate goes Blue when EMF is being used.

The screen flashes blue when a terminal has been hacked 100%
The screen flashes orange when a merc gets a headshot

In the "Merc" Video, after he turnes of EMF vision and sees the spy hacking the terminal, His vision turns blue and on the screen in small letters it says "system failure" I don't know if that means that the terminal had a system failure, or if the Mercs system was hacked.

We dont know what that was but we can confirm he WAS NOT hacked. We have seen a video of a merc hacked and he lost all of his HUD except for the aiming device and it said "You have been hacked by [XXX]".

I'm guessing my screen is gonna flash orange a lot then...
