Thread: Rpg/Level up..? | Forums

  1. #1
Hi everyone - Im new around here, I've checked some topics but couldn't find one, So please dont be harsh on me if this has been asked before,.

In a interview with Jade Raymond I heard her saying that they would add some kind of RPG-element to the game.

She say's something like "You kinda level up and you can get new cool weapon's, New ablities"

It's been on my mind for a while now, This doesn't seem like a RPG game, Anyone know if this? Do you level up 1, 2, 3 etc? And "New abilities" aswell.

    Anyone know anything about it?

the way I see it is between assassination you get new weapons... and if you help civilian they can provide you with a new type of protection... I THINK it will not be more than this... I hope i'm wrong :P

Ive seen the interview to and Jade definately says the exact words "you level up".

But how much you get to customise your abilities and stats we will have to wait and see.

It might just be that as you practice and perform things more you become more skilled at them.

maybe it just give you more "free-blocking"...

dont think it will be a full scale RPG thing because YOU WILL be desapointed...

It definately won't be a full scale RPG, it will just have some features. I'm not knocking RPGs I love them as much as anything!

My guess is that the leveling up/skill will be sort of like Elder Scroll's. As in when you jump, run, attack, as you do these things your skills and attributes will go up.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Somewhere she also said that in the first level you have everything. Then you lose all of it have have to try and regain all of your abilities and weapons.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I like that style of leveling up. The skills you use the most improve the most rather than killing everything with a sword then increasing your spell-casting abilities.

If they want to avoid the usual stats pages of traditional RPG's it could be done invisibly, like the increasing stamina in GTA games. If you run around loads then your stamina will increase, but you don't get a page that says you have increased from 50 to 60, you can simply run further in game before having to catch your breath.
