I have freed Godric, found Findan, taken every town and are ready to attack Markal. But no matter what I do, I loose because Markals troops have attack/defense of 100000+, only thing that can harm them is the heroes spells.

This sounds like you used a trainer in Markal's campaign, so I guess you'll need the trainer again to level the odds.

DOH! yes offcourse, I did use a trainer some time ago. I had to reinstall the game to use the old trainer (and find a old save), but it worked.
