You are probably playing Warrior Within. You are in the Mechanical ClockWorks area near the Clock Tower.
A large brute throws exploding beasts at you.
You should take the time to either use landscape view or to occasionally look at the beast while fighting the sand creatures.
You might also listen to the sound of the brute throwing a spikebeast at you.
At the times you hear the brute's fairly accurate throw, run away from that spot as fast as you can.
The spike beast is in the rear of the room at the Clock Tower.
Work your way to the furthest left side of the front of the room.
There is a hidden breakable wall there. An exploding beast will help break that wall for you. That will lead you to a Life Upgrade.
Work your way to the furthest right side of the front of the room.
There is a boarded up wall there. An exploding beast will help break that wall for you.
Inside is a drinking fountain and an important wall switch.

dude, no one is throwing anything at me, i have got 4 spike beast on ma tail, n i have already tried jumping away while they charge at me infront of that board wall ...
i saw a youtube walkthrough video, in that i saw that those beast were on fire, @ th same time its not on fire in ma game :/

In your first encounter with spike beasts, they are quite fierce.
You need to pay attention how they "prepare to explode."
When you have injured one enough, you need to retreat away from it so that the explosion does not injure you much.
Learn how to "back flip" over a spike beast. That maneuver will help you with other sand creatures in other battles.
For battles with spike beasts, try to not box yourself into a corner where your retreat directions are limited.

It sounds as if you do not have a secondary weapon (sword, axe, mace.)
During a previous battle, you may have had a secondary weapon.
As you use various secondary weapons, the weapon will "wear out."
The secondary weapon has its own "health meter."
Learn to watch a "full strength" weapon lose its "health" as you battle various sand creatures.
Also, some secondary weapons are "poison pills." When you attack a creature, your health decreases.
In either of the above situations, discard your current secondary weapon and pick up another secondary weapon.
After defeating a sand creature who was carrying (wielding) its own weapon, that weapon usually falls to the ground.
When you pick up that weapon, the weapon is at full strength.
You might also look for various weapon racks along your path. Break open the weapon rack and then pick up the "full health" weapon.
