When a member is incapacitated (not dead!), does this mean s/he will recover after a certain amount of time? I was under the impression this is the case, and didn't bother playing again when a member was incapacitated in one of the early missions.
Now after about five missions he is still in the ill state. Why? Does it take longer? Or is the incapacitation just a more gentle name for "DEAD" in the game?

it probably means ubi decided to take the easy way out and "forget" to finish the code. Kinda like all the operatives being the same size, theres only 2-3 or so voices of each sex, ever notice no matter what country they are from they all speak american english, you cant control what unis you wear, etc. etc. just the cheap way out.

I've never tested it, but being incapacitated is like being on the brink of death and would, realistically, take months to recover, unlike being 'wounded'. But, personally I think it's a nicer name for being K.I.A.

No, if the team members are incapacitated then they will not be available for future missions. I guess they are simulating the operative could've been shot in the head or some other vital area and somehow survived but for all intents and purposes, regarding CT ops, they are now dead. However if they are injured, just injured, then they will be fit after a mission and available for use. Hope this helps.

Breaking your leg makes you near death? No. But it still takes you out of the game for a looooong time. Same with getting shot, you don't want the wound to rupture when you're rappelling down the side of a building. It's not like CT team members leave action for stubbing their toes, do they?
