'fraid not, you can not change map or place names
What I do is in the brief is say something like:
"The early snowstorm has slowed the Nazi advance at Utrecht code named Plunge on your maps."
I used this device in a mission using the Kurland map as Holland.
A positive at***ude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
Just for kicks and giggles, you can take a screenshot of the map in FMB. Load it into your graphics programs and paint out the names. If you want to, then print new names to the map screenshot. Include this "Nav Map" with your mission files (jpg or bmp) for the players to print out and use before and during the mission. If they're immersed enough in their mission and "c*ckpit", they'll refer to this nav map and overlook the names in-game.
