Thread: Perfect Mode = Black Landscape | Forums

  1. #1
    Greetings.

I had to use the rts.dll fix to get the FB+AEP+PAF to work. I downloaded and replaced the previous .dll with the new one to make the game work properly. The game runs, but . . . when I run in perfect mode the terrain is black. Clouds and objects show correctly.

Is this related to the rts.dll problem? I thought the new .dll was supposed to be like 842 kb, the one I downloaded is like 142 kb. The one I replace was 1.4 megs.

So, is it a hardware problem? My rig is an AMD 64 3200+ with 1 gig o' ram and a ATI X700 Pro video card using the lates Omega drivers.

    Thanks for any help.

    Try running Il2Setup again.

Select OpenGl (required for Perfect) then under the Video tab select the closest matching card.

    Click OK and test.

If you're using custom settings in the Video tab, make sure that Multitexture, Combine and Secondary Color are all checked.
I get the black sky/ground too if these are unchecked in perfect.
