I would love to see the great water and more weather effects (rain) effects and obviously the map editor (but with much more items) and a lot more testing, than Farcry: Instincts, before publishing!
Map Editor. And a story just as good as instincts.
I would like to see more vehicles and if possible i would like to see a cooperative mode
Far Cry 2
It would be cool if you could view the game happening on the dedicated server. Just like when you die during a predator game. This would help to see how your maps are played and any needed improvements!
There has to be a way that Ubi could allow games to be hosted though there servers!
Say you set up a match, Ubi's servers download your selected maps and the game is hosted from their server! This would allow everyone to support the maximum allowed players, which should be at least 30 for FC2!
Just think any game you join, no lag no matter how many players.
If your connection is causing any problems the server would automatically boot you from the game!
Oh yes and there should be a FCmaps.net download section on XBL that would allow you to download & upload maps to the site database!
Now I must sit and ponder what great map editor idea's I have I'll report in soon!
What I want to see? UbiSoft Montreal licensing the Crysis Engine, thats what I want to see for starters.
They surely do not want to develop a new engine from scratch since this would be too costly and, moreover not the most intelligent approach.
With the good old Farcry engine being outdated it just would be a wise approach to license an Engine.
By doing so they surely will have more time to spend on Gameplay and Story, which would be very nice to see. We gotta face it, as gorgeous Farcry was, and I loved it and still do, the story was rather cheap.
So guys, get ur hands on a good engine, the cryengine2 in that case, since the U3 engine cant cope with the landscapes the cryengine2 can do and get directly to gameplay and story.
anyway, enough from me...
lets hope they do things right, the african setting looks promising for starters.
Singleplayer coopI really hope a game of this magnitude would have an awsome cooperative story one day.
I just hope the AI isn't as artificial as in the first game. They could see me crawling through the bushes 200 meters away...
And firing 8 shotgunshells in the face of the (insert name of the giant monsters with the rocketlauncher-arm) is really not fun. He didn't even notice any of the 7 first.
I want them to keep the mutants, or anything supernatural
I find most games with humans-only boring..
I would like to see some Co-op in this one. Someone else mentioned it, but that would be awesome.
Also, I'd like to get some action in one of those Blackhawks... piloting, gunning, fastroping out them.
