    Can the engine in Chessmaster be replaced with another chess engine, such as Rybka?

    Well, the answer is yes and no...

    Chessmaster is designed so you can import Winboard engines. However, to use a UCI engine like Rybka, you have to the the UCI to Winboard converter. It's not easy, but it can be done.
