direct2drive will probably pick it up once the game is released, or at least set up the pre-order soon. I just put a pre-order on it at the local gamestop. Can't wait until the 24th to actually get it finally.
I would wait. Ubisoft Shanghai has failed the Xbox 360 and PS3 users because of their inability to maintain a database, operate servers (or even know when the servers fail for over a day). Wait until you see how bad it is and if you can personally tolerate the incompetence of Ubisoft Shanghai's database people, and their utter lack of support.

Servers which are over in Canada so i doubt Shanghai operates them.
Honestly roguewarrior you need to stop your *****ing of "Shanghai this" or "Chinese that" suffice it to say it's getting bloody annoying.

Since you are unaware, this game was developed at the Ubisoft Shanghai studio. Pointing out the Shanghai studio office only points them out, not the other responsible Ubisoft studios. Plugging in a server is hardly operating it. Ubisoft Shanghai wrote the code for the servers and they are still responsible for what happens with them. If you have information about people in Montreal doing things to the server, please, let us know.
(deliberately ignoring the troll)
The game is listed on Steam as "coming soon" - so should be downloadable by that service (haven't checked other services).
Still nothing on direct2drive as of noon. They do have the guide though. Really can't wait to give it a spin. A guy in my unit (506th PIR on ArmA) has it for Xbox, and he likes it.

Kid - look at this forum. Ever seen too much good words about EndWars updates? Everyone likes the game - as a platform, but the lack of updates keeps people on the forums rather than playing the game.
So I don't understand how you can manage to have a blind eye on the entire forum you're posting on and still being convinced your friends' opinions is worth making a purschase over.
All posts EFEC, Xbox 360.
Forums attract complainers (see exhibit a, above). Happy people rarely post on any forum - just like several of my friends that are happy to enjoy the game, and tolerate the few bugs because in the balance it is a great game.
See the poster, above, this person has been hanging around the forums for a fairly long time, and like me, I'll wager has already got more than his/her moneys-worth out of this game.
